Insight Pharmaceuticals, a manufacturer and marketer of non-prescription medications, needed better visibility into customer orders and more control over its EDI processes after changing logistics providers. To improve speed and reduce manual work, it evaluated several vendors, including Accellos, and selected AccellosOne EDI for Microsoft Dynamics® GP to bring EDI in house.

Accellos implemented an in-house EDI solution integrated with Great Plains, enabling Insight Pharmaceuticals to receive purchase orders, generate warehouse shipping orders, and send invoices electronically without re-keying data. The result was faster order processing with more than 40 trading partners, greater efficiency, and significant cost savings, while also improving access to account information and control over business operations.
