Chaco, Inc., a fast-growing footwear manufacturer and retailer, was struggling to meet a major retailer’s complex EDI requirements using Microsoft Great Plains. Their existing process for sending UCC labels, Advance Ship Notices, and product catalog data was highly manual, slow, and costly, taking about an hour per order and requiring extra labor to manage data across systems.

Accellos implemented AccellosOne EDI for Microsoft Dynamics GP with the Advance Ship Notice module, integrated with Chaco’s warehouse management system and Great Plains. As a result, order processing time dropped from 1 hour to 2–3 minutes, labor needs were cut from two employees to one, and the number of steps per order fell from 10+ to 4, giving Chaco a faster, more compliant EDI operation.
