Caribou Coffee meets big box retailer’s EDI requirements with AccellosOne EDI for Microsoft Dynamics® GP

Caribou Coffee, a Minneapolis-based specialty coffee chain expanding into retail grocery sales, needed to become EDI compliant quickly to meet big-box retailer requirements like Target’s and exchange purchase orders, invoices, and advance ship notices electronically. To support this, Caribou Coffee chose AccellosOne EDI for Microsoft Dynamics GP because it had to integrate tightly with its existing accounting system and be easy to support long term.

Accellos implemented the solution and helped Caribou Coffee meet Target’s 12-week deadline in just 8 weeks. The integration allowed Target orders to flow automatically into Microsoft Dynamics GP, saving about one hour per week for each trading partner, and Caribou Coffee expects the new EDI capability to generate several hundred thousand dollars in revenue over four months, or about half a million dollars annually.
