Clipper Distributing Company, an animal pharmaceutical distributor experiencing rapid growth, needed to modernize its warehouse operations and reduce the heavy paper-based workload in its St. Joseph, Missouri facility. The company also needed a solution that would integrate with Microsoft Dynamics while supporting its complex mix of refrigerated, controlled, pallet, case, and carousel inventory handled across multiple shipping points.

Clipper Distributing chose AccellosOne WMS from Accellos, implemented with support from WMSI, to automate receiving, barcode scanning, blind picking, bin monitoring, and shipping document creation. With Accellos, Clipper eliminated at least half of its paper-based processes and improved productivity and accuracy, including pick rates rising from 93 to 121 lines per hour, 3,100 to 3,622 pounds per hour, and 280 to 313 cartons per hour.
