Atlantic Can Company, a Westhampton, N.J.-based distributor of decorative tins, plastic tubs, and related packaging products, needed better control over a growing 35,000-square-foot warehouse and 2,500 SKUs. Its manual putaway, picking, and shipping processes were causing inefficiency, inventory errors, and slow turnaround, so it turned to Accellos and the AccellosOne Warehouse Management System.

Accellos implemented AccellosOne WMS and AccellosOne Ship, integrated with Sage 100 ERP, to create a real-time, paper-free warehouse and shipping workflow with barcode scanning, directed putaway, and automated carrier rating. The results included same-day shipping from the receiving dock, 100–120 orders shipped per day versus 50–70 previously, 25% fewer people needed, 80–85% less inventory loss, and more than 90% improvement in order accuracy.
