Medical Student Pride Alliance Engages Community With Inaugural Virtual Conference

Medical Student Pride Alliance (MSPA), a student-run nonprofit advocating for LGBTQ+ medical students, needed a better way to host its inaugural 2022 conference after canceling its 2020 in-person event and running a 2021 research symposium on Zoom. MSPA wanted an all-in-one virtual event platform that could support customized registration, donations, engagement, and a full conference agenda for its community-building, career development, and education-focused event, so it chose Accelevents.

Using Accelevents, MSPA launched a virtual conference with tailored ticketing, built-in donations, a 26-session agenda across 10 tracks, research poster and exhibitor expo spaces, and networking tools like lounges and live chat.
