Fibrenoire is a Montreal-based metro fibre carrier and MEF Carrier Ethernet 2.0–certified provider that delivers Ethernet, IP and dark‑fibre connectivity to enterprises and more than 40 data centers. As it expanded nationally and moved into hybrid‑cloud connectivity, Fibrenoire needed to deliver multiple virtual services over single physical links, meet strict SLA requirements, proactively detect and resolve performance issues, and provide transparent, real‑time reporting to customers.

To meet that challenge Fibrenoire deployed Accedian Network Performance Elements (NIDs) and TWAMP/OAM reflectors at service endpoints. Those devices enable integrated service activation testing, microsecond‑precision SLA monitoring, H‑QoS traffic shaping, prioritized EVPL services, off‑net testing and real‑time customer reporting.
