Idaho State University, a long-time AcademicWorks customer, needed a more efficient way to manage scholarships and eliminate the manual entry of awards into the Banner Financial Aid System. With more than 1,000 scholarship funds serving 13,900 students, the university wanted a clearer view of which awards needed attention and which could move through the process automatically.

AcademicWorks helped Idaho State University implement its Fund Disbursement API, alongside a custom ISU API and SQL reports, to automatically post award data into Banner every weekday morning. The result was a streamlined workflow that removed manual entry, gave staff two daily reports to track award progress and exceptions, and improved overall efficiency across the scholarship process.
