American Indian Graduate Center (AIGC), the only national nonprofit dedicated to aiding American Indian and Alaska Native graduate students, faced a highly manual scholarship application process before AcademicWorks. Staff mailed more than 3,000 paper applications, manually entered submitted data into a database, and spent significant time and money on printing, postage, and administrative work.
