UIF Transforms Learning & Onboarding with Absorb LMS

The University of Illinois Foundation (UIF), a not-for-profit fundraising arm of the University of Illinois, faced scheduling and access challenges with its entirely in-person training program across three distant campuses. Mandatory compliance and security sessions were offered only monthly or bimonthly, leaving new hires idle until they could attend and providing no reliable way to track who had completed training.

UIF implemented Absorb LMS (branded internally as iLearn Advancement) with single sign-on, custom branding, embedded assessments and easy admin tools. In just over a year UIF uploaded 270 resources and 72 courses, achieved a 100% adoption rate for required compliance training for new employees, logged 3,390 enrollments with a 78% completion/in-progress rate, and significantly sped up onboarding while increasing engagement and internal communication.
