A&W Canada, a fast-food franchise with more than 900 locations, needed a way to consistently train staff across a decentralized franchise system where thousands of admins and users had varying familiarity with technology. Maintaining brand standards and delivering the same onboarding experience to veterans and complete beginners was becoming difficult under their previous LMS.
A&W implemented Absorb LMS (with Absorb Engage), which provided an intuitive, on‑brand, and easily managed platform with fast content uploads and strong customer support. The rollout standardized New Employee Training across locations, reached about 26,000 active users and 45,000 trained employees to date, and paved the way to expand e-learning into management development and restaurant cleaning programs.
