Vivint, the Provo-based smart‑home products company acquired by NRG Energy, needed to scale and modernize learning for roughly 10,000 employees amid stricter regulatory and compliance demands. Its custom, in‑house LMS couldn’t deliver the reporting, automation or flexibility required to speed onboarding, ensure compliance, and boost learner engagement.

Vivint migrated to Absorb LMS and Absorb Engage, implementing role‑based blended training, gamification, observation checklists, automated enrollments and compliance‑linked system access. The platform improved reporting and BI, increased engagement and completion rates, reduced technician eLearning from ~24–25 hours to 8–10 hours, cut time‑to‑production from 68 to 39 days and time‑to‑first‑referral from 113 to 58 days, and saved administrative time.
