Sacred Heart Hospital, a 215‑bed medical center in Allentown, PA, manages roughly 300 mobile devices across multiple departments to support clinicians and administrators. As laptop and tablet use grew, the hospital needed a way to monitor hardware and protect sensitive patient data—on and off site—while maintaining HIPAA compliance and visibility into device status.

Sacred Heart deployed Absolute DDS for endpoint security and data risk management, using its tracking, inventory reporting and remote full‑data wipe capabilities to reduce exposure from lost or stolen devices. With the addition of Endpoint Data Discovery, the hospital can proactively locate sensitive data on endpoints, strengthen compliance controls, and now requires Absolute DDS on all new devices.
