Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS), the 18th largest U.S. school district with 134,000 students and nearly 40,000 computers across 209 schools, struggled with manual inventory processes, slow paper-based tracking and recurring device losses — including 58 missing laptops at the end of one year. IT staff also spent many days each year distributing laptops and reconciling software licenses by hand.
