Straightset, the UK's leading independent garage equipment expert, faced a challenge with their previous ecommerce platform. It could not handle the complex purchasing requirements for their garage equipment, such as installation and delivery, nor was it mobile-friendly or integrated with their Tesseract inventory system. They approached Absolute Design for a solution built on Magento 2.

Absolute Design developed a new Magento 2 website that integrated with Tesseract and introduced key features like a spare part finder and Magento Cart2Quote for equipment enquiries. This allowed for spare parts to be purchased directly and complex equipment to be quoted. The solution also included a postcode look-up tool for local servicing.
