Plant Plan boosts Magento B2B and green wall quoting with Absolute Design

Plant Plan, a family-run business specializing in plant design and maintenance, approached Absolute Design to design and build a new ecommerce site on Magento Open Source. Their challenge was to enhance their online offering by integrating complex features previously only available offline, including a green wall configurator and a comprehensive product API, to better serve their distinct B2C and B2B customer personas.

Absolute Design implemented a full solution, which included a customer experience workshop, a bespoke third-party API integration for live inventory, and the creation of a unique 'Green Wall Configurator' tool. This allowed the customer to manage projects more effectively and for account holders to negotiate larger orders. The project's first phase was successfully launched, positioning Plant Plan for future growth with planned enhancements and a monthly maintenance contract to support their expanding needs.
