Sanken Setsubi Kogyo Co, Ltd. becomes Japan’s first facility construction company to earn ISO 19650:2018 certification with ABS Consulting

Sanken Setsubi Kogyo Co, Ltd, a leading Japanese environmental engineering company, faced the challenge of standardizing its operations related to Building Information Modeling (BIM) to improve efficiency and manage built asset information over its lifecycle. To address this, the company engaged ABS Quality Evaluations (ABS QE) with the objective of achieving ISO 19650:2018 certification.

ABS QE provided a solution by introducing the requirements for information management in the form of a management process, offering recommendations for a framework tailored to the customer. As a result, ABS QE helped Sanken Setsubi Kogyo Co. achieve ISO 19650:2018 certification, making them the first domestic facility construction company in Japan to gain this certification. This achievement allows them to improve operational efficiency and better contribute to their customers' environmental conservation activities.
