Pawtucket Credit Union, a roughly $2.3B Rhode Island credit union, struggled with time‑consuming, auditor‑challenged ALLL calculations done in Excel and wanted to get CECL‑ready. Abrigo implemented Sageworks ALLL with a fast rollout (contract Nov 2015, parallel runs Mar 2016, fully live Apr 2016) supported by Abrigo’s team and an internal implementation champion. The solution automated and simplified ALLL calculations, cut calculation time in half, and increased confidence among employees, the board, and auditors as Pawtucket prepares for CECL.
