Corewell Health sought to address clinician burnout and improve the patient experience by reducing the administrative burden of clinical documentation. To tackle this challenge, they partnered with the AI vendor Abridge to implement its enterprise-wide platform for clinical documentation.

By deploying Abridge's generative AI technology, Corewell Health empowered its clinicians to be more present with patients. The results from a 90-day pilot were significant, with Abridge helping to achieve an 85% increase in clinician satisfaction, a 61% reduction in cognitive load, and a 53% decrease in burnout rate. Notably, 90% of clinicians reported giving more undivided attention to their patients.
