ChocMo, a cafe and chocolate shop, faced a steep decline in sales during the pandemic and needed to pivot by enhancing its online customer experience. The challenge was to expand the shared cart to accommodate shipping perishable chocolates alongside age-restricted alcohol and locally-delivered prepared foods, while also creating a custom chocolate box configurator.

Above The Fray Design added the ChocMo site to the multi-store instance and upgraded the shared cart logic to handle the complex logistical puzzle of different product types and delivery rules in a single transaction. They also developed a custom chocolate box configurator for a personalized shopping experience. The solution allowed customers to conveniently shop across all of the client's brands at once and provided a tailored gift messaging option, successfully positioning the business for new growth.
