Domino’s Rolls Out Stronger Communications Security with Behavioral AI

Domino’s, the global pizza brand and self-described technology company, needed to strengthen email security across its 4,400+ mailboxes. Despite Microsoft 365 protections and a secure email gateway, the company was still facing advanced spear phishing, BEC, account takeover attempts, and a flood of user-reported suspicious emails that consumed significant analyst time. Abnormal AI, using its Inbound Email Security product, was brought in to address these challenges.

Abnormal AI’s behavioral AI and API-based approach helped Domino’s detect and remediate threats the legacy SEG missed, while also reducing graymail and improving inbox trust. The solution saved the security team 41 analyst hours per day, cut user-reported malicious emails by 98%, and identified 488 hours of potential companywide graymail savings in 30 days. Abnormal AI also helped Domino’s detect and remediate 355% more BEC attacks than industry averages.
