High Rise Takes the Express Elevator to Reliability

ABM Industries worked with High Rise Commercial Building, a Class A high-rise in Baltimore serving a major financial institution, after the tenant experienced several unplanned partial power outages over a 14-month period. The customer needed to protect computer-based operations from further disruptions caused by unknown electrical power distribution issues.

ABM Industries performed system analysis and selective power quality monitoring to identify the causes of each outage, then resolved the issues and implemented a preventive maintenance program. ABM also developed a customized Engineering Services Agreement to proactively manage the building’s electrical distribution equipment, improving reliability, reducing downtime, and increasing overall safety.
