Atlanta Downtown Improvement District (ADID) needed a reliable way to keep 220 downtown Atlanta blocks clean, attractive, and responsive to ongoing maintenance needs. ABM Industries provided janitorial and maintenance services including street cleaning, pressure washing, window washing, mowing, pruning, trash removal, graffiti removal, and special event and emergency clean-up.

ABM Industries implemented a continuous, structured maintenance program backed by specialized equipment, flexible staffing, and quick-response support for special projects and emergencies. The results included 1.4 million pounds of trash removed in 2010 and 48,000 pounds of tornado debris cleared in 2008 before the city could respond, while also delivering cleaner public spaces, building and cost efficiencies for ADID’s headquarters, and efficient billing and management support.
