Fantasy Football Fix is a fantasy sports site that uses a predictive algorithm to help Fantasy Premier League players make smarter transfers and boost scores. They needed low-latency, scalable delivery of live match statistics to thousands of premium users, but their initial polling approach caused minute delays, extra server overhead and lost updates during unstable network conditions; attempts to build a realtime stack with Django Channels proved complex and time-consuming.
