Virtual1 Selects Abiquo to Provide Cloud Orchestration

Virtual1 is a wholesale network provider that sells through resellers and needed a flexible cloud management platform to support a complex multi-layer reseller model. Working with Abiquo, Virtual1 wanted a simple way to manage multiple brands on one platform, provide different levels of visibility for itself, partners, and customers, and control virtual environments across multiple physical architectures.

Abiquo implemented its cloud management platform as the orchestration layer for Virtual1’s customer-facing portal, integrating support for the required reseller structure and backup technologies while keeping the interface easy to use. The result was a rapid rollout, completed in about six weeks for the platform layer after the hardware and network build, and a new offering that became an important revenue driver, expanded Virtual1’s addressable market, and helped attract new partners.
