The American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), a 50,000‑member professional association for respiratory therapists, needed a better way to deliver required continuing education. Its old system forced members to complete separate transactions across multiple storefronts for each course and lacked useful search and reporting tools, creating barriers to finding, purchasing, and tracking CRCE credits.

AARC launched AARC University powered by Freestone LMS, a single, searchable portal where members can shop, register, view on‑demand courses, take exams, and receive certificates. The platform also hosts archived webinars and provides robust reporting. Since implementation, course sales climbed from about 19,000 annually to 31,000, webinar sales rose from 600 to 2,600, and the association has seen increased unique users, easier program management, and stronger member engagement.
