EDMI delivers a new intelligent security communications module with Abelon in one project

The customer, EDMI, is a pioneering smart gas meter manufacturer. They faced the challenge of developing a new communications module for their intelligent security systems and required additional resources to verify the hardware and develop the necessary firmware. They engaged vendor Abelon Systems to provide its embedded development and firmware services.

Abelon Systems worked closely with the client's hardware team during the design phase to ensure the prototype boards were near production-ready. Abelon then ported a real-time operating system and the application code to the new hardware, also delivering a comprehensive test harness. The result was a fully functional module delivered promptly to meet demand. This success led to Abelon being short-listed as an approved supplier for EDMI and subsequently performing several other projects for them.
