Vostokgazprom, a Gazprom subsidiary based in Tomsk and one of Western Siberia’s largest oil and gas producers, faced large volumes of multi‑page paper financial and accounting documents. The company needed a fast, reliable way to capture key data into its content management/archive system to enable full‑text search and rapid retrieval for internal users and regulators.

Vostokgazprom chose ABBYY FlexiCapture, implemented and tuned by ATAPI Software, with 25 custom templates, archive integration, automatic attribute extraction, searchable PDF output and validation rules. The automated workflow now handles scanning, sorting, indexing, validation and export while operators only verify flagged fields—delivering a searchable digital archive with high accuracy, minimal labor (one operator for bulk capture), faster retrieval for audits and reduced human errors.
