ROSNO Uses ABBYY FormReader for Processing Insurance Policies

ROSNO, one of Russia’s largest insurers with about 100,000 vehicles insured and a nationwide branch network, faced a surge in motor insurance applications—about 100 new forms daily—made more urgent by a new law making vehicle insurance mandatory. Manual processing took 30–40 minutes per application, which would have required hiring many additional operators to handle the increased volume.

ROSNO deployed ABBYY FormReader, with ABBYY creating machine-readable forms and integrating the solution within two months. The result was a fourfold reduction in processing time—average throughput rose from 25 to 100 policies per operator per day—improving staff efficiency and customer satisfaction while avoiding significant extra labor costs.
