ADURO, a corporate wellness provider serving over 70 employer groups, faced growing backlogs and costly errors from manually entering physician fax forms needed for biometric testing and incentives. Rapid business growth made hiring more data-entry staff impractical, so the company needed a fast, reliable way to capture mixed bubble and handwritten data and get it into its database and Salesforce CRM.

Working with ABBYY and partner Paperless Productivity, ADURO implemented ABBYY FlexiCapture with a HIPAA-compliant fax workflow to automatically recognize, verify and export form data into its Ignite database and Salesforce. The solution processed 5,000 forms in the first three months, enabled one person to handle about 4,000 forms per month, and delivered a 3–4× productivity boost while cutting per-form processing time toward the 1.5‑minute goal (down from about six minutes).
