PARASOL is an Australian Registered Training Organization providing first aid and WHS courses through a network of 300 third‑party co‑providers. Facing roughly 70,000 annual enrolments (about 240,000 pages) and a recent regulatory-driven increase in form complexity, PARASOL relied on manual data entry into a central database—creating slow processing, frequent errors, high administrative cost and growing paperwork and environmental concerns.
Konica Minolta implemented ABBYY FlexiCapture with high‑speed multi‑feed scanners and Web Capture Stations, redesigned the enrolment form, and enabled trainers to upload scanned forms so data is OCRed into CSV and pushed to PARASOL’s cloud LMS. The rapid rollout across four offices and ~60 trainers cut administrative work substantially—an estimated 10,000 hours saved in year one—reduced errors, sped up processing, lowered paperwork and freed staff to focus on higher‑value tasks and business growth.
