Litigando Punto Com Fast-Tracks Capturing Smartphone Photos with ABBYY FlexiCapture®

Litigando Punto Com S.A.S., a Bogotá-based legal monitoring firm with seven offices covering 200+ cities, relied on staff photographing court notices with Android phones to track judicial proceedings. Although ABBYY FineReader was used to OCR the photos, many manual steps remained—importing images, launching recognition, copying text to Excel and creating flat files—leading to high workload and error rates.

Working with ABBYY partner Indexa, Litigando implemented ABBYY FlexiCapture to automate image import, recognition and export: photos uploaded to an FTP are auto-processed, 20 operators now only verify results, and data is exported as CSV/flat files for the company database. The solution halved processing time (from about 8 to 4 hours), handles roughly 17,850 pages per month, cut manual tasks and staff requirements, reduced errors, and is being rolled out nationwide.
