PSN is a global energy services company operating in 28 countries, with key operations across Europe, Russia and the Caspian. Because Russian is the primary business language in many of these locations, employees must frequently translate technical documents and engineering drawings between English and Russian; after poor results with a previous tool, PSN sought a more reliable solution.

After evaluating several products, PSN selected ABBYY Lingvo for its comprehensive, easy-to-use features—57 general and specialized dictionaries with over 3 million headwords and phrases. Implementation was straightforward with no special training required; today roughly 80–90% of ERC staff use Lingvo to translate several hundred documents per month, helping engineers, designers and project teams work more efficiently across languages.
