FinTrU, a financial services firm supporting global investment banks with regulatory and lifecycle management processes, needed a way to handle thousands of inconsistent, often hundreds-page-long financial documents without slowing down compliance work. To solve this, FinTrU built TrU Label, a configurable document intelligence platform powered by ABBYY Document AI, to automate complex workflows such as KYC compliance, credit risk, and other capital markets tasks.

Working with ABBYY, FinTrU integrated OCR and intelligent document processing into TrU Label to classify 54+ document types, extract 60+ key data fields, and support maker-checker human validation. The solution produced audit-ready PDFs and structured data with lineage for compliance, helping FinTrU streamline regulatory operations and launch the platform successfully with a multinational bank in late 2023.
