Freo is an online consumer credit provider (Eindhoven, Netherlands) founded by Rabobank and De Lage Landen to offer clear, affordable loans. Faced with large volumes of applicant documents (ID, payslips, bank statements) and strict regulatory checks, Freo’s manual paper-based processing was slow, labor-intensive and delayed decisions by weeks.

Working with DAVINCI, Freo implemented the Document Text Analyser (DTA) powered by ABBYY Recognition Server to classify documents, extract and verify data against business rules, and route results for automated processing.
