ABBYY’s Solution Helps Russo Trans Process Transportation Orders and Receipts

ZAO Russo Trans is a Russian logistics group (120 employees) handling rail transport, international container shipments and rail solutions. Faced with large volumes of receipts and orders that must be scanned, stored and accurately indexed, the company needed to cut document-processing costs, eliminate inefficient manual work and improve data quality.

Russo Trans implemented a web-based document-processing service built on ABBYY FlexiCapture provided by TehCompass, with verification outsourced to third parties. The pay-per-page solution was launched in under a month: scanned files are emailed, automatically imported, verified and stored, resulting in a substantial drop in errors, elimination of tedious manual tasks and the ability to handle from ~600 to tens of thousands of pages as volumes increase.
