Röchling Automotive, a global supplier of plastic parts with subsidiaries in Germany, the Czech Republic, Belgium and the US, faced slow, fragmented invoice processing across locations. Its prior system could not handle e-mail invoices or distributed capture, forcing staff to print and re-scan electronic invoices and hampering multi‑country, multi‑language processing for roughly 50,000 annual invoices and SAP integration.
ABBYY deployed FlexiCapture for Invoices to capture paper and e-mail invoices at regional offices, extract invoice data, route reviews to verification stations and feed validated records into SAP via a document router. The solution added automatic training for new supplier formats, eliminated manual print/scan steps, standardized workflows across locations, sped up access to invoice data and significantly reduced administrative effort while improving capture accuracy.
