A large Singapore logistics provider with 400 employees, 150+ vehicles and three warehouses needed to speed up processing of numerous paper delivery documents that accompany every shipment. Each document contained about 11 important fields and delivery instructions, and manual handling was slow and error-prone—operators also had to detect duplicate copies to avoid double deliveries.

Pericom Imaging implemented ABBYY FlexiCapture 10, training the system on sample images to import, classify and extract data automatically, validate fields and detect duplicates, then export results to an Oracle 10 database. The automation replaced manual sorting and data entry, accelerated core processes, eliminated double deliveries and improved service quality for local and international customers.
