SUMMAN implemented an integrated document-management solution using DataVar, ABBYY FlexiCapture, DocuWare and Splunk: transport documents are scanned at hubs, FlexiCapture reads printed and hand-printed fields and sends data to Splunk while DocuWare stores and matches images. The system provides real-time visibility, faster customer responses, measurable carrier/region performance, elimination of lost documents, reduced time and costs, and a marked improvement in service quality and cash-flow tracking.
