WILAmed GmbH, a German manufacturer and distributor of medical devices for invasive and non-invasive ventilation, faced strict documentation, traceability and quality-management requirements while relying on outdated paper and Excel evaluations. To give employees fast, self-service access to key figures, WILAmed implemented the abas ERP together with abas BI and Microsoft Power BI.

abas delivered a ready-to-use abas BI solution (integrated with Power BI) that prepared the data and enabled quick, self-explanatory reports; installation took less than five days. The result: improved data quality, elimination of tiresome paper/Excel processes, 32 licensed users accessing real-time KPIs, a low investment risk, and plans to extend insights into mixed reality via Microsoft HoloLens.
