A abas ERP Case Study
Thermodyne GmbH, a 160‑employee manufacturer of custom transport containers for aviation, logistics, electronics, medicine and military customers, faced growing complexity from globalization, digitalization and faster delivery demands while needing tight links between design, production and delivery. To manage this challenge the company implemented the business software abas ERP as the central system interfacing all production areas and workflows.
Using abas ERP, Thermodyne created a seamless digital workflow with high integration capability—linking CAD, production planning and control, and a DMS—so all programs are directly interlinked and abas ERP serves as the central data basis. The solution significantly reduced work steps in production, order processing, HR and purchasing, improved process transparency and on‑time delivery, and positioned Thermodyne to better control future data growth.
