SMW-AUTOBLOK, a German metal fabrication and assembly company with about 200 employees and a wide export product range, needed to streamline sales processes and gain better transparency into production to reduce lead times and optimize machine loading. To meet these goals they implemented abas ERP.

abas ERP provided integrated PDC, detailed planning and abas infosystems for clear visibility of capacity, bottlenecks and running orders, enabling efficient sales control and faster work preparation. As a result SMW-AUTOBLOK doubled its licenses from 40 to 80 while keeping an IT team of 1.5 people, migrated to a modern GUI with smooth annual upgrades, and achieved shorter production lead times and improved machine utilization.
