Rud. Kanzow, a 125‑year‑old German distributor and direct importer of frozen seafood, faced a failing legacy system and the loss of their previous software partner. abas implemented a company‑wide abas ERP solution that improved goods tracking, sped access to functions and data, and added lot selection by sell‑by date, country of origin, and cost price to optimize order processing. abas also enabled administration of live goods, quality/test data, and a Dakosy customs interface—resulting in significantly better traceability and faster, more accurate order fulfillment; Rud. Kanzow now plans a future upgrade and rollout of abas BI.
