Pankl Racing Systems, a supplier of engine, drivetrain and chassis components for Formula 1, high-performance cars and aviation, needed a flexible, scalable ERP to support very short development-to-delivery turnarounds, extremely short production processing times and consolidated group reporting across multiple countries. To address this, Pankl partnered with abas and deployed abas ERP (including group accounting and BI integration) to provide the adaptability and control required across diverse business areas.

abas implemented a comprehensive ERP solution—group accounting, financial and fixed-asset accounting, Controlling, BI consolidation, an integrated etagi Modeller for detailed production planning, electronic quality control and Industry 4.0 capabilities—while connecting subsidiaries in the US, UK and Slovakia. The abas system has been stable and grown with Pankl since deployment, now used by 203 licenses across locations, enabling uniform group controlling, faster planning and shorter production cycles and delivering improved key-figure reporting for management.
