MEIKO MASCHINENBAU GMBH & CO. KG, a global plant-engineering company with about 2,300 employees that makes rinsing and disinfection systems, faced limits with its legacy ERP as it rapidly expanded abroad. After an intensive selection process, MEIKO chose abas Software GmbH and its abas ERP (324 licenses) to provide a customizable, release-compatible platform that would support mobility and integrate sites worldwide.

abas Software GmbH implemented abas ERP across MEIKO’s headquarters and multiple countries (Germany, Australia, China, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, with the USA planned), added a Mobile Sales app, a custom contingent planning tool, centralized IT via a MEIKO data center (Citrix/MPLS), and BI/data-warehouse integration. The deployment eliminated duplicate work, centralized master data, reduced field warehouses in favor of just-in-time central inventory access, sped up quote-to-order and service response, and enabled real-time ERP access for sales and service—delivering measurable improvements in planning reliability and international rollout efficiency.
