LTB Leitungsbau GmbH, a Radebeul-based industrial machinery firm with about 400 employees, needed a more flexible ERP than their previous SAP system to support planning and installation of power transmission facilities. To address this, LTB implemented abas ERP, deploying abas Essentials (Sales, Purchasing, Controlling, Costing, Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting), the abas Project Management plugin and extensions for PDC/PTR, device management, payroll/travel costs and data backup.

abas delivered a tailored ERP environment—including device management, abas Project Management and BI via Pentaho—that let LTB react quickly to changing business processes. The solution now supports 31 licensed users, has been in continuous use for more than 11 years, and has improved process control, system integrity and adaptability across LTB’s operations and subsidiary management.
