KET (Kunststoff- und Elasttechnik), a German plastics and elastics manufacturer founded in 1904, faced limits with its legacy PPC system and needed greater flexibility, stability and service. In 1996 the company chose abas ERP, deploying the abas Essentials suite and extensions to replace the old system.

Using abas ERP, KET implemented Essentials modules (Purchasing, Sales, Controlling, Production, Material Management, Financial Accounting, Scheduling, EDI, Fixed Asset Accounting) plus PDC/PTR and Payroll, and custom solutions for remote data transmission, lot management and QA across 11 user licenses. The abas implementation streamlined and secured processes, improved data quality, reduced personnel needs and made operations more manageable for KET.
