CabTec Holding, an electronics company with about 1,000 employees and operations in Switzerland, Hungary and China, needed a flexible, releaseable ERP to coordinate cable production and component assembly with administration, purchasing, sales and finance across multiple locations and to ensure on‑time deliveries. To address these challenges CabTec Holding selected abas and its abas ERP solution for its international, multi‑site capabilities and EDI connectivity.

abas implemented a centrally hosted ERP accessed via terminal server from all locations, deploying materials and warehouse management, production/PPC, scheduling, time recording and EDI. The abas solution now supports 160 users across three countries, has streamlined cross‑site processes and scheduling, improved delivery reliability, and has been in continuous use for over 15 years—underscoring measurable operational stability and a long‑term partnership.
