Auerswald, a family-owned electronics and telecommunications manufacturer in Cremlingen with about 180 employees, faced the need for a flexible, modifiable ERP to integrate sales, purchasing, production, materials and finance and to improve production and procurement planning. To address these challenges the company selected abas ERP in 1992 and deployed it across core functions, alongside PDC/ATR and identification systems.

abas ERP was implemented company-wide and a planning tool co-developed with Auerswald enables near-automatic production and procurement planning; additional modules include plant data collection/attendance (PDC/ATR), identification, and a vendor assessment system, with abas BI currently being rolled out. The result: significantly accelerated production processes, stronger automation and control, and the ability to quickly program required adjustments thanks to abas ERP’s flexibility.
