ABEL Pump Technology, a 130‑employee maker of reciprocating displacement and membrane pumps with sites in Germany, Spain and the USA, needed a unified way to manage product data and finance across locations. ABEL relied on abas (ERP) to address scheduling challenges that required a single product master for pumps, replacement parts and accessories, alongside global financial consolidation to meet US GAAP reporting requirements.

abas implemented a consolidated ERP setup—using a common product master for production and scheduling and enabling global financial consolidation (US GAAP)—deployed at ABEL’s headquarters and its Pittsburgh and Madrid branches. The result: standardized scheduling and parts management across sites, consolidated US GAAP financial reporting, and ongoing system currency via regular abas upgrades used by 86 licensed users.
